How to fold your Buster boat canopy

With these instructions, you’ll fold the canopy neatly into the canopy garage. Always fold down the canopy before trailering the boat.

Detach the canopy from its mounts so it is resting on the canopy arches.

If parts of the canopy attached with zips have separate storage bags, detach these parts and roll them into their bags. If storage space is limited, take the zipped parts off the canopy and wrap them around the rolled-up canopy as shown in step 5.

Straighten up the canopy’s arch pipes and fold them together.

Fold the side parts of the canopy onto the top of the arch pipes.

Roll the canopy up by the front or rear part – whichever is longer – so the canopy fabric rolls tightly around the arch tubes.

Put the canopy in the storage position.

Care and handling of the boat canopy

The boat canopy is not suitable for storing the boat outdoors in the winter. The fabric part of the canopy should be stored in a warm, dry place when the boating season has ended. If it is stored in a cold place, moisture may condense on the surface, which could lead to mould growth.

The canopy arches are not designed to withstand the weight of snow. Do not use the arches to support a winter cover!

Do not cook food under the canopy. The moisture and grease given off during cooking can stick to the surface of the canopy and provide a place for mould to grow.

Do not wash the canopy with solvents. The canopy should be cleaned with lukewarm water at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
